Leadership students participated in many activities with 4-H to help develop their leadership skills. They also held a blanket and sock drive for the homeless. Students also took part in the Leadership Speaker Series where various speakers from the community came to Twenhofel Middle School to share what it takes to be a leader and how to serve others. Students were inspired and asked great questions of our speakers. Speakers this school year included Mayor Chris Reinersman, Hickory Grove Pastor Bill Clark, Kenton County Police Chief Spike Jones, Honorable Kenton County Circuit Court Judge Gregory Bartlett, and Kenton County Assistant Administrator Scott Gunning, Lisa Anglin, Kenton County Drug Alliance Coordinator, and Kenton County Clerk Gabrielle Summe. Thanks so much for the speakers taking time out their busy schedule to share their vast experience with our students!
4-H Leadership Program 2014-2015 Leadership students participated in monthly leadership classes through the 4-H program. Students also participated in various service projects to help in understanding the different needs in their community. The students helped St. Vincent dePaul collect over 400 coats for the 2014 Coat Distribution Program. Our sixth grade students participated in the Northern Kentucky Association for Gifted Education Leadership Symposium in December.
